Join the party--we are a WAITING FAMILY!!!

What does "waiting family" mean? That means Bulgaria has received and approved our dossier. We are now registered with the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and are waiting for our turn to adopt a child. The MOJ looks at a family's dossier and the children currently in need of a "forever family." Then they attempt to match up appropriate families with available children. Finally, we are among those families who are attempting to wait patiently for child!

Now our job is to keep our paperwork current while we are waiting for this to happen. Having your paperwork expire can set you back significantly time-wise. If you recall some of the paperwork took three or four months to get back from government agencies. So, keeping track of dates is muy importante!

Aside from the MOJ excitement, we were just informed that we received Camie's Hope Grant from the Global Orphan Foundation. This is such a blessing and we are so amazed at God's continued financial faithfulness through this process.

So, JOIN the party!!! To celebrate being a waiting family, we are launching our t-shirt fundraiser! We are selling t-shirts for a VERY limited time through Bonfire. Here's how it works: We take orders online for our custom adoption t-shirts for 21 days. During that time, you can order t-shirts and you can even make a donation to our adoption through Bonfire. At the end of the 21-day period, our fundraiser is complete and your t-shirts will be shipped to you. There is a small fee for shipping.

The BEST part about this fundraiser is because of our Lifesong matching grant (which I shared about here), any money you donate or use to buy a t-shirt with will be doubled. How awesome to know your $20 shirt purchase will turn into a $40 donation to our adoption fund because of this matching grant and their cooperation with Bonfire!

Like I said...God is faithful!

Here's the big shirt reveal... Drum roll, please...

TA DA!!!! Since we want to bring a little Bulgarian home, we thought we'd introduce you to Bulgaria! The green area is the outline of the country of Bulgaria and that cool looking word that I can't pronounce very well means "hope" in Bulgarian. As you all know, this has been a focus word for our family throughout this process--it's a special word for us, for the child God is going to entrust to us and for the many children and families out there who are waiting to be joined together.

So, join the party, get your Bulgarian on and go order yourself a t-shirt!!

In case you ever forget, we always thank God for your prayers, encouragement, and generosity!
